I designed The logos below for koa bay, which is a community being proposed in Fort Pierce, FL. It’s main attraction will be a man-made wave pool. “Koa” is a beautiful hardwood made from a popular tree in Hawaii that was used to create some of the earliest surf boards. these letterforms were both inspired by the research I did on Hawaiian petroglyphs and the history of surfing.
